NNDC Online Data Service Manual and Data Citation Guidelines

Two manuals in Postscript are available in this directory. These are: The NNDC Online Data Service Manual and the Citation Guidelines for Nuclear Data Retrieved from Databases Resident at Nuclear Data Centers Network. AAREADME.TXT is an ASCII text file describing the contents of this directory.

NNDC Online Data Service Manual

The Online Nuclear Data Service Manual (C.L. Dunford and T.W. Burrows. NNDC/ONL-99/3 and IAEA-NDS-150 Rev. 99/3) has been divided into seven files. There is an additional unpublished document contained in this directory. Brief descriptions of these eight files follows.

• CINDA --- Chapter 9 of the manual consisting of detailed information on how to use the CINDA (Computer Index to Neutron Data) data base of the online service. (113,386 bytes. 1548 records. 10 printed pages).
• COMP_FORMAT --- Describes various special output formats which may be used when retrieving data from the CSISRS (Cross Section Information Storage and Retrieval System) data base of the online service. (90,215 bytes. 1434 records. 7 printed pages)
• COVER --- Cover page and table of contents for the manual. (75,777 bytes. 1038 records. 6 printed pages)
• ENDF --- Chapter 11 of the manual consisting of detailed information on how to use the ENDF (Evaluated Nuclear Data File) data base of the online service. (165,830 bytes. 2306 records. 23 printed pages)
• ENSDF --- Chapter 7 of the manual consisting of detailed information on how to use the ENSDF (Evaluated Nuclear Structure Data File) data base of the online service. (235,187 bytes. 3270 records. 29 printed pages)
• FILES --- Chapter 15 of the manual consisting of detailed information on how to use the FILE module of the online service. (95,701 bytes. 1309 records. 9 printed pages)
