ENSDF Analysis and Checking Codes for MS-DOS
                                  May 10, 1995


               The ENSDF analysis and checking codes available  for  MS-DOS
          are organized in the form of four ZIP files corresponding to four
          3.5" floppy  diskettes.   Installation  notes  are  available  as
          either  a  Word  6 for Windows (INSTALL.DOC) or a PostScript file
          (INSTALL.PS).  Within each ZIP file, the programs  are  contained
          in  individual  directories  with  general  information  and data
          contained in the root directory of  ENSDF_C1.ZIP.   There  is  an
          installation  batch  file for each diskette.  The contents of the
          four ZIP files are:

            ENSDF_C1.ZIP:  General information,  EXPAND.EXE,  INSTALL1.BAT,
          ADDGAM, ALPHAD, DELTA, FMTCHK, GTOL, LOGFT, and NSDFLIB

            ENSDF_C2.ZIP:  INSTALL2.BAT and HSICC

            ENSDF_C3.ZIP:  INSTALL3.BAT, GABS, PANDORA, and RULER

            ENSDF_C4.ZIP:  INSTALL4.BAT, ENSDAT, and TREND

               It is planned to also place in this directory  update  files
          containing  only those programs added or modified as of a certain
          date.  The file names for these will be of the form  UPYYMMDD.ZIP
          (YY=year, MM=month, DD=day).  If you would like to be notified by
