Organization of the ENSDF program directory

               The ENSDF programs residing in this directory are  organized
          under  two  subdirectories  (ANALYSIS and UTILITY).  Each program
          has its own subdirectory under one  of  these.   Residing  within
          these  program  subdirectories  is  a  "read me" file of the form
          READXXXX.ME where XXXX are  the  first  four  characters  of  the
          program  name  (e.g.,  READADDG.ME  for  the program ADDGAM), the
          program and any subroutine  packages  specific  to  the  program,
          sample  input  and  output  files  specific  to the program, and,
          occasionally, additional  documentation  in  the  form  of  memos
          generated   by  Digital  Standard  Runoff  (extension:   MEM)  or
          POSTSCRIPT files (extension:   PS)  generated  by  a  variety  of
          programs.
 
               Common  sample   input   files,   program   libraries,   and
          documentation  reside  in  the  main  ENSDF program subdirectory.
          These  are   DATA.TST,   NSDFLIB.FOR,   SETMDC.ANS,   SETMDC.VAX,
          READNSDF.ME, DISTRM.MEM, NSDFLIB.MEM, and SETMDC.MEM.
 
               DISTRM.MEM contains  general  information  about  the  ENSDF
          program  distribution,  a  summary  of  the  current  versions of
          programs, and brief descriptions of each  program  along  with  a
          list of the required files and program libraries.
 
               The individual "read me" files give a basic  description  of
          the  program, input and output, special options, terminal dialog,
          compilation  and  loading  instructions,  revision  history,  and
          references to additional documentation if available.
 
          NOTE:  Options within the NNDC on-line system allow the  user  to
          automatically obtain a program and all relevant files.
 
               There is  an  additional  directory  (EXE)  which  currently
          contains  the  Open-VMS  executables  for COMTRANS and ENSDAT and
